The Karamazov
Brothers
The project is a two-part publication comprising a new translation of Fyodor Dostoevsky’s final novel and a DVD featuring a television recording of The Brothers Karamazov performed by Teatr Provisorium. The Brothers Karamazov is a repeatedly published cornerstone of the European literary canon. The publication has a clean, elegant form and draws attention through a clear distinction from previous Polish editions of Dostoevsky’s work.
What makes this edition exceptional is an original solution: a dust jacket that simultaneously serves as the DVD packaging. For a novel of this stature, the use of hardcover binding, the selection of premium paper stocks, and a masterwork of lettering design were entirely fitting choices.
